LEGAL NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
ON 2027 BUDGET
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Proposed Budget of the Grand Gorge Fire District of the Town of Roxbury, State of New York, will be presented to the Board of Fire Commissioners of the Grand Gorge Fire District, for its consideration.
A PUBLIC HEARING will be held at 6:00 p.m. at the Grand Gorge Fire House, 60753 State Highway 30, Grand Gorge, NY 12434, in the Town of Roxbury, State of New York on the 21st day of October, 2026.
Pursuant to Town Law 105, the Board of Fire Commissioners must hold a public hearing on the budget, make the proposed budget available to the public prior to the public hearing, allow the public to comment on the budget at the public hearing. This public hearing must be held to allow maximum public participation in the hearing.
The purpose of the public hearing is to allow any person to be heard in favor of or against the proposed budget as it is submitted, or for or against any item or items contained in the proposed budget, and hearing all persons interested in the subject concerning same.
That a copy of the proposed budget is available at the Office of the Town Clerk of the Town of Roxbury at 56 Hillcrest Drive, Roxbury NY 12474 and Fire District Secretary at 60753 State Highway 30, Grand Gorge, NY 12434 where it may be inspected by any interested person during office hours.

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Town of Roxbury Planning Board will hold a Public Hearing, pursuant to Section 274 of the Town Law on the application of:
ANTOINETTE ETTS, Tax Map #Section 157. Block 1, Lot 28.1 located at 161 North Montgomery Hollow, Roxbury, NY 12474. Application for Minor Subdivision.
SAID HEARING will be held on Wednesday October 21, 2026 at 7:30 pm at the Roxbury Town Hall, 56 Hillcrest Drive, Roxbury, NY at which time all interested persons will have the opportunity to be heard. The Subdivision Application is on file at the Roxbury Town Clerk’s Office for public review prior to the Public Hearing.

BID NOTICE
TOWN OF ROXBURY
Pursuant to Section 103 of the General Municipal Law, the Town Board, Town of Roxbury, will receive sealed bids for approximately 12,000 gallons +/- No. 2 Fuel Oil or Winter Blend (when applicable) to be delivered as needed to the Highway Garage building. This bid will be for the 2026/2027 heating season.
The following is required: 1) All bids must meet New York State specifications; 2) Winter Blend will be a 60/40 Blend of 60% No. 2 Fuel Oil and 40% Kerosene; 3) Base Prices will be based on the Journal of Commerce Daily Average Albany Posting for No. 2 Fuel oil and Kerosene dated October 2, 2026; and 4) must be accompanied by a certificate of non-collusion.
Bids shall be marked “FUEL OIL BID” and must be received at the Town Clerk’s Office, PO Box 189, 56 Hillcrest Drive, Roxbury, NY 12474 no later than 2:00 pm on October 08, 2026, at which time they shall be opened. The bid will be awarded at the Regular Monthly Meeting of the Town Board to be held October 13, 2026, at 6:00 pm at the Town Hall.
The Town Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids.

The Town Board, Town of Roxbury, will hold a Special Meeting on October 7, 2026, at 4:00 pm at the Town Hall, 56 Hillcrest Drive, Roxbury, NY for the purpose of conducting a Budget Workshop on the 2027 Tentative Budget and to discuss any other business that may come before the Board. Copies of the Preliminary Budget will be available for public review after the Budget Workshop.

Public Hearing: CDBG Project - Roxbury Housing Rehab
LEGAL NOTICE

Town of Roxbury
The Town of Roxbury will hold a public hearing on August 10, 2026, at 6:00 pm at the Grand Gorge Civic Center, 60933 State Hwy 30, Grand Gorge, NY for the purpose of hearing public comments on the current NYS Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) project: 2023 Roxbury Housing Rehab for $500,000.
The CDBG program is administered by the New York State Homes and Community Renewal and will make available to eligible local governments approximately $45 million in funding for the current program year for housing, public infrastructure, public facilities, economic development, imminent threat, and community planning, with the principal purpose of benefiting low and moderate income persons.
The hearing will provide information on the progress of the CDBG project. Comments on the administration and effectiveness of the CDBG project will be received.
The Grand Gorge Civic Centerisaccessible to persons with disabilities. If special accommodations are needed for persons with disabilities, those with hearing impairments, or those in need of translation from English, contact the Town Clerk’s Office at 607-326-7641, at least three days in advance of the hearing date. Written comments may also be submitted to Town Clerk’s Office, PO Box 189, Roxbury, NY 12474, townclerk@roxburyny.govuntil 8/13/2026.
The application and other materials related to CDBG funds will be made available at the MARK Project, 43355 State Highway 28, Arkville, NY. The hearing will also be broadcast on zoom, and residents can find the link at roxburyny.gov.
