Public Hearing: CDBG Project - Roxbury Housing Rehab

Town of Roxbury

The Town of Roxbury will hold a public hearing on August 10, 2026, at 6:00 pm at the Grand Gorge Civic Center, 60933 State Hwy 30, Grand Gorge, NY for the purpose of hearing public comments on the current NYS Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) project: 2023 Roxbury Housing Rehab for $500,000.

The CDBG program is administered by the New York State Homes and Community Renewal and will make available to eligible local governments approximately $45 million in funding for the current program year for housing, public infrastructure, public facilities, economic development, imminent threat, and community planning, with the principal purpose of benefiting low and moderate income persons.

The hearing will provide information on the progress of the CDBG project. Comments on the administration and effectiveness of the CDBG project will be received.

The Grand Gorge Civic Center is accessible to persons with disabilities. If special accommodations are needed for persons with disabilities, those with hearing impairments, or those in need of translation from English, contact the Town Clerk’s Office at 607-326-7641, at least three days in advance of the hearing date. Written comments may also be submitted to Town Clerk’s Office, PO Box 189, Roxbury, NY 12474, townclerk@roxburyny.gov until 8/13/2026.

The application and other materials related to CDBG funds will be made available at the MARK Project, 43355 State Highway 28, Arkville, NY. The hearing will also be broadcast on zoom, and residents can find the link at roxburyny.gov.
